  37. Find Area Code (FAC) is a TSR-capable MSDOS program which can quickly
  38. search for and display U.S. and international telephone area codes or
  39. other custom information entered by the user.  FAC performs its search
  40. using any part of an area code, city, state, country or other string,
  41. and shows matches almost instantly.  FAC also has a very powerful
  42. "fuzzy search" mode which allows you to search using sound-alike,
  43. phonetic spellings.  The program also shows a continuously updated
  44. date and time display.  FAC uses a datafile which you can modify in
  45. any way or it can search a default or user-specified external
  46. datafile. FAC can search as quickly as 800 lines per second on a slow
  47. XT and as much as 40,000 lines per second on a fast 486.  FAC can
  48. run from the MSDOS command line or you can install it as a memory
  49. resident program (TSR).  As a TSR, FAC can operate in as little as 7K
  50. of RAM using disk or expanded (EMS) memory for swapping. FAC
  51. intelligently supports 25, 43, and 50 line video (text) color/mono
  52. modes, sizing and zooming the screen appropriately.  Registration
  53. includes bonus data file of 43,000 U.S. ZIP codes, cities, states, and
  54. counties.
